George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) publishes the parking products listed below. Rates are the current drive-up daily maximums; pre-booked rates are usually 10–30 percent lower. Click any product to see the airport's reservation page.
| Lot / Garage | Hourly | Daily | Access to terminal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Terminal Garages A/B/C/D/E Daily | $4/hr | $30/day | Direct connection to your terminal |
| Ecopark 1 Economy | — | $7/day | Free shuttle every 10 minutes |
| Ecopark 2 Economy | — | $10/day | Free shuttle every 10 minutes |
Money-saving tip: Ecopark 1 at $7/day is by far the best value at any major Texas airport. The shuttle is fast — 8 minutes to Terminal A and 12 to Terminal E.
How the on-site lots compare at IAH
The cheapest on-airport long-term option at IAH works for trips of four days or more, where the per-day savings outweigh the shuttle wait. For one- to three-day trips, the daily terminal garage is usually the better total-time call once you factor in the shuttle to and from a long-term lot.
Hourly parking is for pickups and meetings of less than four hours; rates climb steeply after the first hour at every airport. The cell phone waiting lot is free and is the right place to wait for an arriving passenger — pulling to the arrivals curb early forces you into a recirculation loop that at busy hubs like IAH can cost 15–25 minutes.
Off-airport parking near IAH
Independent operators within a few miles of IAH typically undercut on-airport economy by $3–$8 per day. The trade-off is shuttle frequency.
| Lot | Daily rate | Shuttle |
|---|---|---|
| The Parking Spot IAH | $12/day | 24/7 free shuttle |
| WallyPark IAH | $14/day | Valet handoff |
Rideshare and ground transportation
Uber and Lyft pick up at the rideshare lot at the south end of the airport, reached by free Ground Transportation shuttle from each terminal. Surcharge $2.50.
For full ground-transport details — rental car center, transit fares, hotel shuttle locations — see the IAH ground transportation guide.
Accessible parking at IAH
Accessible spaces are reserved on every level of the on-site garages at IAH and are the closest spaces to each terminal entrance. A valid disability placard or plate is required. Wheelchair-accessible shuttle service is available from the long-term and economy lots — request it from any shuttle driver or via the airport's accessibility line.
Terminal map summary
Five terminals (A, B, C, D, E) connected by the Skyway elevated train (airside, free) and Inter-Terminal Train (underground, free). United hubs all five terminals; international wide-bodies primarily use D and E. See the full IAH terminals guide for airline assignments and walking-time estimates.
